Off to Georgia!

We stopped at this cute little shop along the interstate....

I bought a bag of Key Lime cookies....big shocker.

This was crazy good!

 We made it to the river front city of Savannah right before happy hour...

I CANNOT get over the amount of Spanish Moss covering Savannah! It's incredible!

Looking at South Carolina from the Georgia side of the Savannah River.

We stopped at the Kessler Hotel on the river front for a cocktail.

My Key Lime Martini after a few sips! OMG this was sooooo yummy! Tasted just like Key Lime Pie!

Folly Beach, South Carolina

Who knew Chucktown was a secret surf spot?

I sure didn't....

Folly Beach is just outside of the main city of Charleston on a quaint barrier island. It's lovely.....

We ate at an adorable cafe for lunch called Lost Dog. It was good!!

I had a salad with Spinach, Strawberries, Apples, Walnuts, Feta, Bagel Chips and Sweet Balsamic Dressing... 

We've found with travelling that surfers and surf towns are all the same no matter where you are in the world. There is something really comforting about that. Especially when you are thousands of miles away from yours.

I LOVED this. In fact I like this little lunch combo so much I'm thinking that I might have to make something like this for my work lunches....

The soup was so good I would have paid any price for it but this is the best part of Gaulart and Maliclet....

Each one of of our meals was priced at only $7.30! And that included the wine!!! $7.30! Can you believe that?! Score!

Here's the proof! We were so impressed that we went back the next day for seconds....
